Lesson 1. Introduction To Elite Fast Bowler
Introduction to Elite Fast Bowler :
In the introduction video I speak to the type of practice session this is, it is a technical training session. Specifically for bowlers to build a repeatable, efficient bowling action. For more mature, experienced bowlers it is for fault correction, bio-mechanics check up and to maintain excellence in their bowling. This can be done two to three times a week 'Out of Season' to establish and consolidate good bowling mechanics.
This session should be be used once a week 'In Season' to monitor and maintain the mechanics of the existing action and to check no bad habits are creeping into your bowling.
Master your stock ball first, being able to hit a good length six balls an over is the foundation of all great bowlers. When you have mastered your stock ball length, you can control the game, you can then decide when and where to bowl variations. If you don't have mastery of your length then every ball is a variation!
See the Bowlers workloads sheet attached here to explain how much you should bowl and what frequency to avoid injury.
Bowling in a normal net session to batters is a different practice session, that is specifically to practice bowling in a match situation.
Bring your BAM : Brains - Ambition - Motivation and go to work on achieving your cricket goals and dreams.
